Anatomy and Poetry

I am to incite poetic injustice
If I write and conspire a poem which does so malice
Malice in the truth of editing
A poem that does not coincide with meaning

I am at a loss of words for the poem I must type
I forget the simple inspiration and faith needed to write
The task is laid down, the order given
I must write about hormones and an endocrine gland

I have no choice but to compose and assume
The role of poet and creator with my talents exhume
I muster my vigor, and my patience ignites
I type with velocity, fervor and might

The adenohypophysis is the gland that creates
Such hormones our body needs to maintain
The homeostatic paradigm of the human condition
The messengers incited that coinspire assimilation

So difficult a task to create poetry
That defines the ministry and hierarchy
Men are not built to write misery
To create poems about the human anatomy
